Windsun - Hotel in Lansdowne, Manthala

We recently stayed at this charming mountain hotel, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The breathtaking views alone would make this place worth visiting, but what truly set it apart was the exceptional assistance from the host. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. From providing insightful local tips to arranging personalized excursions, their dedication to guest service was evident. The warmth and hospitality made us feel more like welcomed guests than mere patrons.

Very Good homestay and wonderful hospitality. Clean and hygienic environment. Good food, served customised. Well suited for kids as well.

Windsun is truely a home away from home. I stayed here last week and it is going to be most cherished trip with the family. Lovely place, lovely weather and top of it, very warm host ( Vinodji) and his family. The food cooked by women from the family was prepared with so much love and warmth and everything tasted so yum and delicious. I got a chance to meet the youngsters from the family. Their connection with their culture and friendly nature made me so proud of them. GOD BLESS THEM. If you are someone who is planning for relaxed vacation with your loved ones in the lap of nature and company of warm people like Vinodji and family, please make a visit to Windsun. Windsun - appropriate name - Lots of Winds and Lots of Sun. I visited this homestay in April this year with my wife. One of the memorable timeouts we had in long time. The homestay is in Manthalla Village outside the slowly growing urban spread of Lansdowne. The rooms are clean, sobre and have balconies which have valley view and hills. Windsun homestay is an excellent place to stay for those who value peace, nature, calmness, beautiful views and an urge to experience village life, village food and touching hospitality of the family. I had an opportunity to meet the entire family as I reached the homestay on the day of marriage in their family. Inspite of this, the host family which runs this home stay, especially, Shri Vinod took excellent care of us and went out of way to ensure we had a fabulous time during the stay. Options for mild to moderate trekking are also available. The local food was prepared by the family themselves and was a treat. The open terrace is an ideal place to hang out in the evenings with a panoramic view of Lansdowne during night. Also has a Karaoke system which can be fully utilized in the evenings. A perfect place to stay for groups, families and bikers.

Lansdowne is full of Resorts Hotel and Homestays. Thou all seems good but Windsun claims a minor difference over others..... That is homely touch and great hospitality. If this attracts you more than Windun is the place you must visit
