The Tea Road hotel - Hotel in Periyamudaliyar Chavadi

I recently stayed here for the New years with my friends in the dormitory. The hotel is quite affordable and it has great ambience, the room looks beautiful too. They have a restaurant at the top where we can chill and the food is good too. The location is quite close to Auroville beach and the Serenity beach too. It is also not far from other touristy places. I had a great stay. The service is great and the management including the maids is super friendly and cooperative. Definitely recommend it to students or people who traveling in a group and on budget. 🩷

The Tea Road hotel is surely one of the best hotels to stay in Pondicherry and very affordable in terms of price. The manager Saleem and the whole team are extremely nice, smiling, attentive and accommodating. Quality guaranteed, here they want your comfort, not your money (contrary to what we have seen elsewhere in the same area...!). The rooms are comfortable, pretty, spacious and very clean. Everything is provided for the bathroom (also clean and spacious, with hot water all the time), bedding, fan, air conditioning, all comfort! The hotel has a restaurant (good food and amazing staff) and laundry service. Perfect breakfast included. Located between the city of Pondicherry and Auroville, the location is ideal if, like us, you want to enjoy the beaches. Excellent value for money, very difficult to find better! We would have stayed there 6 more months, thank you very much ! Lou and Léo

Room was spacious but overall hotel and premises was not maintained! Near by Auroville beach!
