Hotel Raama Grand Lodging Kolhapur - Hotel in Kolhapur

Visited on 1/4/2023. Very clean and neat. I had taken 3 bed room . Quite spacious. Bathroom clean. Very close to Mahalaxmi temple. Just walking distance. Restaurant are close by. car parking available. A bit difficult parking but staff helps. Overall experience was good.

We got a simple AC room with one and half beds. Staff was very kind, polite and helpful. Service was excellent. The pillows and bedding is slightly old. Could be replenished. The bathroom is small but usable. Hot water is available from 4am till 3pm. AC was functional but took time to cool the room. The hotel was very near to the Mahalaxmi temple which was convenient for us for morning Abhishekam visit.

Recently on our trip from Tirupati we came to Kolhapur and had stayed one night at Raama Grand. Courteous and very helpful staff. Very nearby to Mahalaxmi temple. We checked in around 5 pm evening and visited the temple in the evening. Walking distance situated near Bhawani Mandap. Market is close by and multiple famous food outlets and hotel. They also have a huge dormitory for group of friends or family. Good place recommended for friends and family.

I prefer this hotel just because of its location. Very close to the temple, so that's the biggest advantage. The room was not well maintained. Lots of small insects in the room. The room wall has a leakage sign and fungus too. The parking area is on the ground floor which is not well maintained. Lots of dust and dumb garbage. Service by staff was good and polite attitude. No food available at the hotel, they will provide restaurant detail for parcel service.

The Hotel is located very near to Sri Karveer Niwasini Ambabai Mahalaxmi Temple. It is very convenient for the devotees to reach the Temple at any time by walk. Room tariff is moderate and facilities are in proportionate to the tariff. No Restaurant is available in the Hotel but only rooms. There are many hotels nearby to the Hotel. We can get Tea and Water bottles at room service. Hotel staff are courteous. Hotel room booking service is available from travel Apps but the tariff is high. It is advisable to call the Hotel directly and book the room by paying some advance.
