Fenicia Riverside Resort - Hotel in Velim, Gorkomarad

Fenicia is a treasure. There's a dash of everything... Greenery like a tropical resort, the beautiful location where the river meets the Arabian Sea, the decor has a splash of just enough colour. The furniture, beds and bathrooms are super good. There's abundance of space unlike typical crammed up rooms. Leaves you with an air of luxury. The staff are very very courteous and kind hearted. Always willing to serve. On the flip side we had trouble getting hot water throughout our stay. So they couldn't do anything about it. Given all the great things about this place, id still rate it a 5*

This place in the monsoon. Swimming in their sparkling pool in the heavy rain was a magical experience. But highlight of why I ABSOLUTELY loved this place was because of how pet friendly they are. Normally resorts like these discriminate against pets. Even if they are pet friendly, pets will not be allowed in 90% of the place. But this resort is so welcoming. Dogs are allowed everywhere except restaurants which is totally justified. Was on a solo trip with my dog and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely stay here everytime I visit Goa. Huge fan ! Please stay exactly the way you are. Hats off 🙌

Their professionalism and attentiveness enhance the guest experience, making visitors feel welcomed and well taken care of during their stay. In summary, Fenicia Lakeside Resort offers a serene getaway with excellent rooms, breathtaking views, and a hospitable staff. However, improvements to the menu options and pricing could elevate the overall guest experience. With its current offerings, the resort earns a rating of 3 out of 5, primarily for its accommodations, views, and staff hospitality.

I recently stayed in the month of aug 2024 and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Despite its claims, the hotel fell short of basic standards. *Room Maintenance:* The rooms were not properly maintained, with visible leaks on the walls. This was a major concern and made the stay uncomfortable. *Swimming Pool:* The swimming pool was dirty and required multiple requests to get it cleaned. This lack of attention to detail was surprising. *Breakfast:* On the first day, the buffet breakfast was not served due to low occupancy. This was inconvenient and felt like a cost-cutting measure. *Location:* The hotel is far from the market, making it difficult to access local amenities. Wifi never worked. Overall, my stay at [Hotel Name] was underwhelming. While it may not be a five-star hotel, basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service are expected. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to meet those expectations.
