Black Mango Resort - Hotel in Kala Amb

80 km from Chandigarh and 17 km from Nahan…. While going Dehradun it’s a beautiful property. Very old but classy. Food is just amazing. It’s the only good hotel and restaurant we can find which have tasty food and hygiene also. Price is also not very high. Food quantity and quality both are amazing

Feel delighted in reviewing this hotels. Falling short of words. I travel quite extensively world over, but the kind of hospitality and personal touch I received here is unmatched with any hotel anywhere in the world. Attention to details even before our arrival, they called us and asked about our good preferences and the timing of arrival. When we reached there was apple juice served as welcome drink. Smooth check in and property visit given by Ravi, Front office manager, was quite impressive. They have 4 restaurants, which I didn't find in any hotel in Himachal atleast. Fresh and varied food, big lawns, guitarist performance, rain dance with music in the evening, cricket match screening on such a big screen, so much to write. The best, one can ask for. Good job Mr. Anand Singh, the manager for managing this place so beautifully.

Hotel inside and outside both views are beautiful. cleaning is good with fully hygiene bathrooms. Lawn is good for children playing. Food is outstanding. They also have a very large screen in their bar area which gives you a theater feeling.

The food is nice. Liked the ones our vegetarian counterparts ordered. My non vegetarian option I did not enjoy it. Fine dining 🍽 though

This is one of the oldest hotel in this area. Located on the main highway, it serves the purpose as there aren't many options around. Recently they have renovated and tried to go upscale. The bar looks like a pretty restaurant with nice decor and garden view. Unfortunately that's the only thing they made changes to. Menu didn't have much to choose from. Staff was generally clueless about most of the things and their service also didn't match up with the way it looked. Overall not so good but as I said as there aren't many options around, this place can be visited at least once. Total rating is BLAH!!!
